Refund & Cancellation Policy
How subscriptions can be cancelled, and when a refund is available.
Last updated: 02 August 2026
1. Summary
You can cancel a subscription at any time. A 7-day refund window applies to a first subscription. After that, fees for the current billing period are non-refundable, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than ending the paid period early.
2. Free plan
The free plan costs nothing and has no expiry. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund. You may stop using it at any time, or ask us to close your account by writing to [email protected].
3. Cancelling a paid subscription
- You may cancel at any time by writing to [email protected] from your registered email address, or by calling +91-971 100 5558.
- Cancellation stops any future renewal. Your subscription remains active, and you keep full access, until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We will confirm your cancellation by email. If you do not receive confirmation within two working days, please follow up.
4. Refunds
a) 7-day refund window on a first subscription
If you are subscribing to a paid plan for the first time and it is not right for you, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the payment date. We will refund the amount paid, including GST.
This window applies once per customer. It is intended to let you evaluate the service in good faith, and does not apply where the account shows substantial use — for example bulk downloading of documents — during those 7 days.
b) After the 7-day window
Subscription fees are charged in advance for the billing period you select and are non-refundable after the 7-day window, including where you decide to stop using the Platform partway through a paid period, your usage is lower than expected, or you cancel before the end of a quarterly, half-yearly or annual term. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period.
c) Where we will always refund
- You were charged in error — for example a duplicate payment, or an amount that does not match the plan you selected;
- Money was debited but your subscription was not activated, and we cannot activate it;
- We discontinue your plan or materially reduce what it provides during a period you have already paid for — refunded pro-rata;
- We are unable to provide the service for a prolonged period for reasons within our control.
d) Where we will not refund
- Where an account has been suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service;
- Where a refund is requested for a period that has already been fully served;
- Where a chargeback has been raised without first contacting us to resolve the issue.
5. Failed and duplicate payments
If money is debited from your account but your subscription does not activate, do not pay again. Write to us with the transaction reference and we will investigate.
Where a payment fails at the gateway but a debit has occurred, the amount is normally reversed automatically by your bank within 5 to 7 working days. If it has not been reversed after 7 working days, contact us and we will follow it up with the payment gateway on your behalf.
6. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your registered email address with your registered email and company name, the subscription or invoice number, the payment date and amount, and the reason for the request.
7. How refunds are paid
- We acknowledge refund requests within 2 working days.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days of approval.
- Refunds are always returned to the original payment method — we cannot refund to a different card, account or UPI ID.
- Once processed, your bank typically takes a further 5 to 7 working days to credit the amount. That final step is outside our control.
- A credit note is issued for any refunded GST invoice, as required under GST rules.
8. Plan changes and upgrades
You may upgrade at any time; the new plan takes effect once the difference is paid. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period — we do not refund the difference mid-period.
9. If you are unhappy
If you disagree with a decision on a refund, write to us at [email protected] marking your email “Refund escalation”. We would much rather resolve a dispute directly than have you raise a chargeback.
